An opportunity to send the Council details of sites to consider for allocation in the next Local Plan. This will cover a range of land uses.

Call for sites

The first formal stage of consultation, known as Regulation 18, which will be for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Issues and options consultation

The final formal stage of consultation on the draft Local Plan, known as Regulation 19, which will be for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Pre-submission consultation

The Local Plan will be examined by an independent Planning Inspector to determine if it is 'sound' and has been prepared in accordance with legislation. The timing of this stage will be informed by the Planning Inspectorate.

Examination period

The new Local Plan will be adopted by the Council.
